Point of Sale Overview

The GreenPOS terminal is where you process all sales transactions.

POS Layout​

The POS screen is divided into three main sections:

1. Product Search (Left)​

  • Search Bar: Type product name or scan barcode
  • Category Tabs: Browse products by category
  • Product Grid: Click products to add to basket

2. Basket (Center)​

  • Items: Products added to the current sale
  • Quantity: Adjust amounts for each item
  • Discounts: Applied discounts shown
  • Subtotal: Running total before tax

3. Customer & Checkout (Right)​

  • Customer: Selected customer info and loyalty points
  • Tax Summary: Breakdown of applicable taxes
  • Total: Final amount due
  • Payment Buttons: Complete the transaction

Adding Products to a Sale​

Method 1: Search by Name​

  1. Click in the search bar (or press F3)
  2. Type the product name
  3. Click the product from results

Method 2: Barcode Scanner​

  1. Position the barcode under the scanner
  2. Product is automatically added
  3. Scan again to increase quantity
Scanner Not Working?

Make sure the cursor is in the search field. Click the search bar before scanning.

Method 3: Browse Categories​

  1. Click a category tab (Flower, Edibles, etc.)
  2. Scroll through products
  3. Click to add to basket

Adjusting Quantities​

Change Quantity​

  1. Click the item in the basket
  2. Enter the new quantity
  3. Press Enter or click elsewhere

Remove Item​

  1. Click the item in the basket
  2. Click the X or trash icon
  3. Item is removed
