Sales Reports
GreenPOS provides several reports for analyzing sales performance. Each report is accessible from the sidebar under Reports & Analytics.
Shared Features
All reports share these common features:
- Date range picker — Quick select presets (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month) or custom date range
- Export — Download as CSV or PDF
- Timezone-aware — All dates use your store's timezone
Sales Summary
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Sales Summary.
Overview of your store's revenue and transaction activity.

| Total Revenue | Gross sales for the period |
| Transactions | Number of completed sales |
| Avg Transaction | Average sale amount |
| Daily Average | Average daily revenue |
Includes:
- Daily Sales Revenue bar chart
- Daily Transactions line chart
- Daily Breakdown table with date, revenue, transactions, and average transaction
Category Sales
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Category Sales.
Breakdown of sales by product category.

| Total Revenue | Revenue across all categories |
| Gross Profit | Revenue minus cost of goods |
| Total Taxes | Tax collected |
| Net Sales | After deductions |
The category table shows per-category metrics: transactions, units sold, revenue, COGS, margin %, discounts, taxes, and net sales.
Product Performance
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Product Performance.
See your top-selling products ranked by quantity and revenue.

Basic plan users see the top 5 products. Pro and Enterprise plans show the top 10.
Tax Breakdown
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Tax Breakdown.
Summary of tax collected by type.

| State Tax | State sales tax collected |
| Local Tax | Local/municipal tax collected |
| Total Tax | Combined tax amount |
Each tax type shows the configured rate and the total amount collected for the selected period.
Profit Analysis
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Profit Analysis.
Cost and profit data is hidden from Budtenders. Only Managers, Admins, and above can view this report.

Insights & Recommendations
The report generates automated insights based on your data:
- Categories with margins below 30% are flagged for review
- Top-performing categories are highlighted
- Suggestions for improving profitability are provided
Item Profitability
Navigate to Reports & Analytics > Item Profitability.
Detailed profitability ranking by individual product.
