Billing & Subscription

Manage your store's GreenPOS subscription, view invoices, and update payment information.

Overview

Access your billing page from Configuration > Billing in the sidebar.

View your current plan details:

Changing Your Plan

  1. Go to Configuration > Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the new plan.
  4. Choose your billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  5. Confirm the change.

Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Payment Method

Update your payment method on file:

  1. Go to Configuration > Billing.
  2. Click Update Payment Method.
  3. Enter your new card details.
  4. Save.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (via Stripe)
  • ACH bank transfer (Enterprise plans)

Invoices

View your billing history and download invoices:

  • Each invoice shows line items, subtotal, taxes, and total
  • Download invoices as PDF for your records
  • Past due invoices are highlighted

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. You'll receive an email notification.
  2. GreenPOS automatically retries the payment after 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days.
  3. Update your payment method if the card on file has expired or been declined.
  4. If all retries fail, your account may be flagged — contact support to resolve.

Free Trial

New stores start with a free trial period. During the trial:

  • Full access to all features
  • No payment required
  • You'll receive a reminder before the trial ends
  • Choose a plan before the trial expires to continue using GreenPOS

Troubleshooting

Payment won't process:

  • Verify your card details are correct
  • Try a different payment method
  • Contact your bank if the card is being declined

Invoice not received:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Verify the email address on your account is correct
  • Contact support to resend

Plan change not showing:

  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
  • Clear your browser cache and refresh
  • Contact support if the issue persists
